Scarlett Thomas can unfortunately no longer attend the New Zealand Festival of the Arts due to personal reasons. All schools who have booked for this event have been contacted about a replacement speaker, if you haven’t heard from us please contact schoolfest@festival.co.nz

The Worldquake series by UK writer Scarlett Thomas is “the most exciting debut in children’s fiction since Harry Potter” (Joanne Harris). Join Scarlett and her heroine Effie Truelove for a magical journey to the Otherworld, full of tricksters, witches, warriors, heroes, mages, hunters and other kharakters.
