The New Zealand Festival of the Arts is a curated Festival and artists are programmed by invitation. While the majority of our international programme will be selected by our guest curators, we are always interested in hearing from artists and organisations, having conversations and exploring how your work aligns with our Festival. New Zealand work is selected and commissioned by the Festival Creative Director, Marnie Karmelita.

2020 NEW ZEALAND FESTIVAL ARTIST REGISTER
The New Zealand Festival of the Arts invites all members of the professional arts community to join the Artist Register 2020 and receive discounted tickets to experience some of the most inspiring performing arts that the world has to offer.
The Artist Register is open to professional artists, technicians and arts administrators working for an arts company, cooperative or ensemble, or as a freelancer in the professional arts sector.
Approved members of the Artist Register are entitled to receive an Artists' Card. providing the following benefits:
- a 50% discount on one ticket (per performance) to a New Zealand Festival of the Arts event on the day of the show if there is space available.
- a limited number of 2-for-1 tickets
