Start your Festival weekend right by nourishing (and caffeinating) yourself before you hit the next show. Mojo's fab slow-cooked beef cheeks served on toasted sourdough topped with a soft poached egg is paired perfectly with a cold brew coffee.
Continuing our brunch theme – all good nights eventually lead to the morning after. So bring your dark glasses and enjoy a Bloody Mary and a damn good brunch after a damn good night. BYO sunglasses and St Johns Bar & Restaurant will sort the rest. Best of all, their brunch goes until 2pm on weekends because, good nights happen!
Hot Sauce at QT Museum Wellington is the perfect place to unwind and revel in the fact that it’s the end of the day as you get ready to see your next show. They’re offering extensive drinks delights as part of their Happy Cat Hour so choose your poison and relax into the night.
Throughout the Festival, Basque is running a competition to design your own sangria. The winning sangria will be featured on their new sangria list, with your name and sangria name, plus you'll receive a $50 bar tab so you can bring your friends. Salud!
Plan ahead and enjoy an evening pre-show dinner at the ever-popular Egmont St Eatery, a hidden gem tucked away in one of Wellington's vibrant laneways.
We might have saved the best till last with this elegant throwback to finer times – Dillinger's is here to wine and dine you in style. Suck up six oysters and two glasses of Mumm Champagne, before enjoying a fine evening of world-class Festival entertainment.
